The wiring in houses today is out of date for the level of technology that exists in most homes today. Structured wiring gives support for cable TV, satellite TV, home networking, high speed internet, home theaters, whole house audio, video distribution, phones, and other products in each room of the house.
Services such as phone, high speed internet, and cable/satellite TV are brought in to a central control panel where the signal is split and routed throughout the house. This is the only place where the lines are spliced so a high quality more consistent signal gets distributed throughout the entire house.
The wiring from the central control panel can incorporate as much or as little as you prefer. We can run cables that would give support for today’s technology. However, it is recommended to run some extra/upgraded cables to give support for the technology levels that will be around in the near future.
